Blue's Clues

Blue's Clues is an award-winning, play-along, think-along, half-hour animated series. The show stars one of two live-action hosts, Steve or his brother Joe, and an energetic, bright blue puppy named Blue. In each episode, Joe or Steve invites viewers into a computer-animated storybook world to help solve the day's puzzles.

 

Obbi

Oobi, a bare-hand puppet (with eyes and accessories) focuses on the stage in a young child’s life when everything in his or her world is new and incredible.

Oobi is a show about wonder. It speaks to the stage in a young child's life when everything is new and incredible: building a block tower, making cookies. Oobi is a show about children's first awkward attempts at mastery and meaning. It's a show about the everyday revelations.

Learning Goal: With interactive games and story, Oobi, a curious and gentle four-year-old, discovers the world around him, along with his three-year-old sister Uma, his best friend Kako, and his grandfather, Grampu -- all bare-hand puppets. Through connected learning preschoolers build vocabulary, concepts and skills from mathematicsm, early literacy, logical thinking and movement.

In a preschool classroom in your neighbourhood there are three very special pets! These pets are no ordinary classroom pets. At the end of every school day, when everyone goes home, they become the Wonder Pets! Three courageous superheroes who travel the world using teamwork to help save young animals in distress.

The Wonder Pets! Do not have any actual superpowers. In this way, they are very much like preschoolers. But what they do have is TEAMWORK! They know that by working together and combining their individual skills, there is nothing they can’t achieve. This is what makes them the Wonder Pets:

 

Go, Diego, Go!

Go, Diego, Go! is a half-hour animated show starring Dora the Explorer's cousin, Diego Marquez. Diego is an 8-year-old action-adventure hero who loves nature and animals.

In each episode, Diego's mission is to help rescue an animal in trouble. Using observation skills and scientific tools like computers, a field journal, and cameras--and with help from young viewers at home--Diego succeeds in his goal while introducing kids to information about each animal's sound, movement, habitat, diet, family, and physical characteristics.

Dora the explorer

Dora the Explorer is a half-hour animated children's television series starring a 7-year-old Latina girl and her friends. The show is designed to actively engage preschoolers in a play-along, computer-style adventure.
In each episode, Dora invites young viewers to join her on an adventure or an exploration with a clearly defined goal at the end. Using Map to point out the stops on the way, Dora and the viewer must solve problems and overcome obstacles along the way to their goal. At the end of each episode, Dora, the viewer, and Dora's friends, celebrate with Dora's signature "We Did It" dance.
Dora the Explorer is a ground-breaking children's show, in part because it incorporates play-along viewing and interaction in every episode. Dora the Explorer also introduces kids to Spanish words, encourages movement, and gives viewers the skills and the confidence needed to overcome challenge

Tak and the Power of JuJu

Tak and the Power of Juju is a CG slapstick comedy set in a fantastical jungle world. The series follows the Pupununu people, an unlucky, primitive tribe, and their struggle with the Jujus: ancient, mysterious magical beings who live among them. The only Pupununu who has Juju Powers is Tak, an impulsive kid whose main interest is goofing off with his friends. Tak's powers allow him to access magic usually only available to the Jujus. But Tak has had zero magical training. So instead of giving him success and respect, his powers -- combined with his over-active imagination, his awkwardness, and his plain bad luck -- always get Tak (and the villagers and even the Jujus) into outlandish trouble

The Troop	The Troop is about three “ordinary” kids Jake, Hayley and Felix, who belong to a secret global society known as The Troop. Although everyone in the school and community believes that they are just average kids, in reality, Jake, Hayley and Felix are actually battling (or in some cases befriending) an array of monsters on a regular basis. The Troop balances the extraordinary - kids dealing with the existence of monsters against the ordinary - attending school and dealing with the usual teenage problems of parents, exams and peer pressure. Follow Jake, Hayley and Felix along with their adult advisor, Stockley on their monster tracking adventures. It is a comedic Sci-Fi thriller, with a healthy balance of adventure, laughs and chills!

Carly Shay is a 13-year-old girl who lives with her twenty-six year old brother in a cool artist’s loft in Seattle.  Her life is fairly normal until she and her friends, Sam and Freddie, create a homemade Web show, which they call iCarly.   Their show is like a distant cousin of Wayne’s World.  With Freddie behind the camera, Carly and Sam get to host the show, doing anything they think is funny: comedy sketches, odd recipes, showcasing kids with bizarre talents, even soliciting real video clips from real kids across the country.  Carly and Sam’s personalities, their chemistry, comedy and often conflicting points of view turn their little web show into an underground internet sensation.  As iCarly catches on, Carly, Sam and Freddie become unwitting kid celebrities. They must balance the problems of everyday kid life with their newfound fame and still manage to put on a great show every week.
